Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India is all set to launch the CBR300R in the Indian market by the end of this fiscal year, as reported. The new model will be the replacement of the CBR250R which has reportedly been discontinued along with its combat engined CBR150R sibling. The pricing for the motorcycle will be around INR 2.00 lakh. Globally, the CBR300R is available to choose from two shades of red and black.
The Honda CBR300R will be equipped with a digital-analouge instrument console where the meters such as speedometer, odometer, trip meter and fuel gauge will be in digital format. While, the tachometer will take the analouge route.
Other than this, the CBR300R, which will be powered by a 286cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, four stroke engine, will also feature improved safety components like disc brakes with ABS. The 37mm front fork and rear mono shock with five positions of spring preload adjustability will take care damping duties. The engine in question is capable of generating the peak power of 30.4 bhp at 8500 rpm along with 27.1Nm of torque at 7250 rpm. the generated power will be sent to the rear wheel via a 6 speed gearbox.
