Honda Activa 6G Launched With Amazing New Features

Honda has launched the BS6-compliant version of 110 cc Activa 6G. This version is Rs 7500/- more than its corresponding BS4 compliant version with many added features. The cost of standard variant stands at Rs 63912 whereas the deluxe variant costs Rs 65412 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The notable changes in the new variant can be enumerated as follows:

There are stricter emission norms that are to be complied with and hence has contributed to changes in the engine. The new BS6 model has a single-cylinder 109.51cc motor which is more efficient than 109.19cc motor in BS4-spec scooter. It uses a fuel-injected engine which is better than the carburetted BS4 model.

Other significant features that are included in the new Honda Activa 6 G Model are:

  • Addition of Telescopic fork
  • Larger 12- inch front wheel instead of 10-inch wheel earlier
  • Pass light switch
  • External fuel filler cap that can be opened by a switch near the keyhole. These are the features that have made their way from Activa 125 BS6

After the TVS Jupiter Classic, Honda Activa 6G is the second BS6-compliant 110cc scooter to be launched. The Honda Activa is the highest selling scooter brand in the Indian market. This new variant was launched in the market with the changes in accordance with the new norms in the form of BS6 which is mandated by the Government to be applied to all the new vehicles that will be registered after 1st April 2020. This means that you won’t be able to register a vehicle with BS4 norms after the due date.
