The much awaited Honda BR-V, which is due for its debut in India at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, has been displayed recently at the Surabaya Automotive Exhibition, a four day event going on in Indonesia. At the show, the SUV has been revealed in a Misty Green Pearl shade. It was displayed for the first time at the Indonesia Motor Show. After that, the automaker has been flaunting this vehicle at various events and platforms. There is a lot of craze for the all new BR-V model and we hope it lives upto the expectations of the audience.

It offers a seven-seat configuration and is inspired from the recently launched Jazz as well as the well established Honda City. Mechanically, it will be available in both diesel and petrol guises, both being powered by a 1.5 litre unit. The former has the caliber to pump out 100PS/200Nm of maximum output, while the latter will be able to develop a maximum output measuring 118PS/145Nm. Transmission will be handled by either a 5-speed or a 6-speed manual gearbox along with a CVT unit fitted in the petrol variants.

As per the reports, it will be available in 6 color options namely- Taffeta White, Lunar Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Passion Red Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Misty Green Pearl. Upon its launch, it will target the likes of Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster. The production will be carried out at the company's facility located in Takapura, Rajasthan from April 2016. Honda is already counting a lot on the model and hopes to receive 4,000 bookings by the end of this year.
