The special edition of sporty naked street fighter Honda CB150R Streetfire has been launched by Astra Honda Motor (AHM) in Jakarta, Indonesia. Truly aimed to win the hearts of younger audience, the StreetFire will also be the desire of the ones who want a motorcycle, which looks energetic along with vigorous body dynamics.
The naked special edition CB150R Streetfire flaunts exciting features, which include the trellis frame that is attired up in red, alloy wheels painted in red and engine gets dazzling golden finish. On top of that, a compact new visor for the headlamp and a sporty engine cowl to enhance its aerodynamics styling has been added by AHM. Two exclusive color options for the motorcycle are Speedy Raptor Black and White.
The product will run parallel with the current course of naked sports bike segment where buyers are looking for something different, said by Tanuwijaya, Marketing Director, AHM. "The Honda CB150R StreetFire Special Edition is dedicated to Honda’s naked bike fans who want to look more aggressive and different."
Mechanically, the Streetfire is powered by a 150cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that has four valves, mated to a six speed transmission and produces a healthy power of 16.9 PS at 9,000 RPM and 13.8 NM of torque at 7,000 RPM. AHM claims that the bike accelerate the speed of 0 to 200 KMPH in just 10.5 seconds, and yet brings a mileage of 40.6 KMPL. Various new accessories are being offered by AHM for the CB150R, including a pillion seat cowl all painted in matte black, tank pad, fuel lid pad, radiator and engine guard, new fender and many more.
AHM sets the pricing for the Honda CB150R StreetFire at around 1.25 lakhs with an estimated target of 21000 units to be sold in a month.
