The Japanese automaker massive, Honda, has encountered an appealing fortune in the category of its commuter Tourer section, and now it is looking progressively towards the mid & the high-capacity Tourers to be introduced worldwide. It seems like the brand is planning to debut its CBR500R to the approaching 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. As of now, the motorcycle is on sale in the international markets and anticipated to reach Indian territory shortly in a couple of months.
Looks-wise, the aesthetically designed, fully-faired CBR500R sports twin headlights at the front. The Tourer flaunts with its killer, edgy cuts escorting with angular headlights, fairing and the visor. The matte-finished black engine, split-up seat and the side panel work as an add on to the glamor of the bike. Moreover, it features LED taillights, short rear fender and wider rear tyre describing the motorcycle as a pure naked street-fighter.

Besides this, the Honda CBR500R is engineered with a fully digital instrument console carrying a huge LCD, which features a digital speedometer, bar-type tachometer, odometer, dual-trip meter, mileage calculator and clock. In terms of power, the bike gets a 471cc, liquid-cooled PGM-Fi engine that propels 48BHP of power at 8500 RPM and 43NM of torque at 7000 RPM, via a six-speed transmission unit.
The claimed top speed of the bike is 170 KMPH and it takes less than 7 seconds to cover a distance from zero to 100 KMPH. Fuel economy is around 20 Km/l. Altogether, we can say that the CBR500R is likely to get a good attention from the Indian audience. It is expected that the upcoming Tourer will be sealed with a price range of Rs. 4.25 lacs- Rs. 4.75 lacs.
