In a recent teaser released Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has confirmed the launch of its first BS-VI two-wheeler on June 12. However, as of now, the two-wheeler is not assured to be a scooter or a motorcycle. But, for sure, it will not only be the first BS-VI two-wheeler of the company but also of the country as well.
For the upcoming launch on June 12, Honda has sent invites to auto portals actively working in the industry. The invite says “Honda 2Wheelers India invites you to be a part of A Quiet Revolution as it is ready to announce the FIRST BS-VI two-wheeler.” it further mentions, “Please hold a pin drop silence.

At first, A Quiet Revolution suggests the arrival of an electric two-wheeler. However, the company has confirmed the introduction of a BS-VI offering which ends up the probability of an EV launch. Now what Honda is trying to convey with messages like ‘pin drop silence’ and ‘a quiet revolution’. Maybe, the Japanese bike maker is hinting towards the introduction of a fuel injected motor which has already been confirmed. Also, it is the only way to bring such pin drop silence from a motor as the technology helps in refining motor and bring smoothness in power transmission to a great extent.
However, there is no knowledge which brand will roll out on June 12 out the two suspected models the Honda Activa 125 and the Honda Elite 125. The former is not only the brand’s most selling scooter but also in the country’s best selling scooter as well. And, the company is working on a new variant of the same over the last few months. While the Honda Elite 125 which is available on sale in other countries is a scooter with fuel injection system and complies with the BS-VI emission norms as well.
Both of these scooters follow by the statements made in the teaser video and invite notes, “A Quiet Revolution” and “Pin Drop Silence”.
