Launched on November 8, 2017, the flagship 125cc scooter from the Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, the Honda Grazia has crossed the sales of one lakh units in less than five months.
In the 125cc segment, the Honda Grazia that is dedicated to the young generation is considered as a stylish alternative to the Activa 125 that has a family scooter identity in the market. A sportier offering from Honda, the Grazia boasts edgier outlook borrowed from maxi scooters. Its styling can be compared with the brand’s ongoing Dio model. Featured with an LED headlamp setup at the front apron, the Grazia comes equipped with a digital instrument cluster unit. It is the first being in the segment with these mentioned facilities.
"Equipped with innovative segment first features like LED Headlamp, fully digital meter with 3 step Eco speed indicator along with modern styling sets it apart in the segment. The phenomenal response from young urban customers reaffirms that more and more upwardly mobile youth who desired an advanced, stylish, powerful and convenient scooter are now buying the Grazia," said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.
Mechanically, the Honda Grazia comes powered by a tried and tested 125 cc Honda engine. The similar engine performs propelling duty on the ongoing Honda Activa 125. The mill is rated to expel the maximum power of 8.52 bhp and 10.54 Nm of peak torque. The power transmission to the rear wheel takes place via a CVT gearbox.
The list of other features on the Honda Grazia that makes it one of the most striking scooters in the 125cc segment are the telescopic front suspension, alloy wheels, CBS system, 18-litre under seat storage and cubby holes for additional storage as well. Trendy scooter in styling, the Grazia goes into competition with the likes of the Suzuki Access 125, Aprilia SR 125 and lately introduced TVS NTorq 125.
