Honda India launched CBR650F in Domestic Market at Rs 7.30 lakhs

Honda India has officially launched its middle-weight and entry-level motorcycle, CBR650F, in the country today at 7.30 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi). It is the newly offering in the market that is featured with a robust engine and modern technology. In addition to the CBR650F, the firm has also showcased the new Hornet 160R, CBR650R facelift and CBR250R facelift at the Revfest event. The CBR650F will compete against to the Kawasaki Ninja 650, Hyosung GT650 and Benelli TNT 600 GT.

The quarter-liter motorcycle is powered by a liquid-cooled and inline four cylinder motor, carrying an engine displacement of 649cc that produces 87 PS of power at 11,000 RPM and 62 NM of torque at 8,000 RPM. The engine is mated to a six speed transmission. The motor has been blessed with programmed fuel injection system that will boost the overall performance of the motorcycle. The top speed of CBR650F is 225 KMPH, whereas it accelerates the speed in just 4 seconds from 0-100 KMPH.

In terms of design, the motorcycle gets a single unit headlight and bulky fuel tank that gives a combative look to the motorcycle. The motorcycle gets 320mm discs with twin-piston calipers at front and 240mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear, whereas the ABS is standard in the motorcycle. The motorcycle has kerb weight of 211 KG. The motorcycle has received fully digital instrument cluster that carries a fuel gauge, clock speedometer, tachometer, etc. The motorcycle is featured with Honda Ignition Security System.

The motorcycle has been designed in well-manner from each dimensions as it measures a 2110mm of length, 755mm of width and 1145mm of height, whereas the ground clearance is 130mm. The seat height is just 810mm from the tarmac, whereas thew ground clearance is 130mm. The middleweight motorcycle is built of a stiff twin-spar steel frame, which sits on a front 41mm telescopic forks and rear shock spring loaded suspensions.
