And, the curiosity among the masses that what it will be, has ended. Fundamentally, It is an all-new 110cc scooter from the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer with quirky design language and an off-beat commuting genre. It is a utilitarian vehicle with a perfect mix of practicality and versatility, and at the price sticker of Rs. 42,499 (ex-showroom, Delhi) the Cliq is a value for money. As reported, the new Cliq will firstly be available in Rajasthan, while rest of the nation will get its availability by this festive season.
If talks about its body language, with featuring such as front apron placed headlamp, high mounted front fender, block pattern tyres with deep grooves, lowered, longer and wider seat, etc. the Honda Cliq is a rugged scooter with a distinctive off-road feel. Altogether, the facilities such as spacious footboard, 14 litres under seat storage and optional rear carrier prove its load carrying ability.
At the powering front, the Honda Cliq is packed with an 110 cc single-cylinder BS-IV engine, to easily take on the patchy roads under all weather conditions. In association with the Honda patented HET technology, the mill is claimed to deliver 8 bhp of maximum power along with superb mileage figures. The suspension duties on Honda Cliq are under spring loaded hydraulic setup consideration at both ends. While the braking will be handled by drum brakes integrated with the combi-braking system with the equalizer, which distributes equal braking force to the both wheel.

Moreover, the low seat height, light weight (102kg) and easy handling capabilities make Cliq manoeuvre easily in dense traffic conditions. The other notable features of this new 110cc Honda Cliq is mobile charging point, tubeless tyres, maintenance free battery which offers a convenient ride for the rider. While, a front screen, floor cover, box center, cap cover, rear grip among other parts, are some optional accessories being offered by Honda.
At rivalry front, the TVS Scooty Zest is the only competition for the new Honda Cliq at this price sticker.
