The Honda revealed the New Honda Passport SUV which is a five-seat SUV at the LA motor show.The latest Passport model will be the latest gen model in the US and will be higher in command from CR-V.
The new Passport which is based on a monocoque chassis gets a single powertrain-gearbox combination and a 3.5-liter V6 petrol powertrain producing 284hp and 355Nm of peak torque which is coupled to a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While the front wheel drive is offered as standard, buyers can also opt for Honda’s i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system. The 4x4 variant sends approx 70 percent of powertrain’s output to a particular rear wheel and has four modes which include- snow, sand, and mud. If configured with front 2-wheel drive system the Passport SUV has two drive modes- snow and normal.

The interior of the Honda Passport SUV is class leading as it is of larger size and have a five-seat layout. It also contains excellent space for luggage with 1,167 liters available which is expanded to 2,206 liters along with the 60:40 split folding rear seats down.

The lower version will get 215-watt audio system along with the 5.0-inch display.
Safety features
Recently, Honda launched the fifth-generation Honda CR-V which costs Rs 28.15-35.75 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Honda has not yet disclosed about the bringing of Passport SUV in India.
