Honda Teased 2017 CR-V Version Online

After being revealed through many spied shots, the all-new 2017 CR-V has come out with some official images. This is the fifth generation model of the crossover in the global market and will be based on the same compact global platform that is currently running under the Civic. As the company claimed earlier, it will make its appearance with a completely revamped design. Besides, for the first time, it has been offered with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Nothing has been stated for the India-bound unit, but, the continuously increasing demand may force the company to launch the trim here as well.

The latest version of the Honda CR-V will host more angular and aggressive design than its predecessor thanks to the sharp front end design cues, boxy styled bonnet, redesigned headlights with wing-shaped LED daytime running lights, and muscular fenders. Some styling cues are also inspired by the company’s premium class, Acura, specifically on the rear profile and the LED headlights. As of now, Honda is offering only the CR-V in a petrol trim and lack of a diesel unit are affecting the sales in the country.
