At the Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has released the facelifted models of its most selling commuters in the 110cc and 125cc segments. These are Honda Livo, CB Shine and SP which are updated for the calendar year 2018. The modification on all the mentioned models is at cosmetic front whereas mechanicals is all similar to the regular models.
Firstly, consider the Livo that is a premium commuter from the bike maker in the 110cc segment. It gets new paint schemes and decals. The instrument cluster is revised and now gets digital with additional bits like a service due indicator and a clock. For the CB Shine, there is an introduction of a metallic red paint scheme along with new decals, chrome work on the visor and improved instrument cluster. On the flip of the coin, the Shine SP variant that comes with a five-speed gearbox transmission now has got sporty graphic, tank extension along with digital instrument cluster with a service due reminder and a clock.
The CB Shine and the Hero Glamour are the potent rivals in the 125cc segment and we can expect with these updates the CB Shine will get succeed to overcome its rival. The Livo in its segment is a costlier offering over its rival still we can hope its sales number will increase post the updates.
