As per the latest updates from GaadiWaadi, Hyundai Motor India's General Manager & Group Head, Mr Puneet Anand has confirmed that the company shall launch a Hyundai Creta Anniversary Edition sometime by mid-2016. Since its introduction in India, it has been gaining a lot of popularity among the audience. As per the calculations, numbers of its bookings has been reported to be nearly 100,000 in the country as of now with 45,000 units being supplied in domestic and export markets. Besides, the company is also thinking to increase the production with thousands of unit per month.
Well, Details have not been confirmed yet, but Anniversary Edition shall be expected to be offered with company's well-designed features, such as body decals on the side and contrasting roof colors at the exteriors. While the interior could get attached with exclusive floor carpets, exclusive seat covers illuminated door sills, aluminium pedals and might be loaded with a car refrigerator as an optional arrangement. Along with these, it is expected to carry some popular and signature features of the company that is supposed to be revealed before the official launch.
Under the hood, The Hyundai could launch this edition with same engine specifications. The petrol engine shall continue with a 1.6-litre unit, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the diesel engine is supposed to come out with two choices, one will be a 1.4-litre motor, fitted to a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the other one would be a 1.6-litre diesel trim that comes mated with a six-speed automatic transmission option. The pricing aspect has not been revealed yet, but it is likely to be disclosed at a later date.
