Hyundai Creta Official Images Rendered ahead of its Launch

Today, Hyundai has officially rendered the images of its upcoming new Creta aka ix 25 compact SUV before launching it in India on July 21 in this current year. Dimension wise, the vehicle will be 270 mm in length, 1780 mm in width, 1630 mm in height and 2590 mm in wheelbase. Hyundai will build this crossover model on the basis of its next generation Fluidic Sculpture design language with singular radiator hexagonal grille, projector headlights comprising LED daytime running lights and diamond cut 16 inch alloy wheels.

Its interior will be equipped with a multifunctional steering wheel, a touch screen infotainment system, automatic climate control and smart entry along with push button start. The manufacturer won't ignore the security for its passengers as it will offer impressive safety features on this compact SUV, such as ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution) and dual airbags, including an optional side and curtain airbags.

Mechanically, the Creta will be powered by a 1.6 litre four cylinder petrol and a 1.6 litre four cylinder diesel engines, which are also available in the Hyundai Verna. Two transmission options will be introduced, a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed manual, for transferring the produced power to the wheels of the vehicle. Moreover, a 1.4 litre diesel mill is also expected to power its another variant.

Already undergone production at the brand's Chennai plant, it will give straight competition against the likes of the Nissan Terrano, Renault Duster and the forthcoming Maruti Suzuki S Cross. The Hyundai Creta is likely to be priced between INR 8 Lac to INR 10 Lac (ex-showroom) on July 21, 2015 in India.
