Hyundai i20 facelift uncovered at the Auto Expo 2018 and now the company revealed the i20 Active cross-hatch. The i20 Active facelift has the grille as the pre-facelift car rather than new 'Cascade' grille like the i20 model. Amazingly, in the front, there is no relevant update is seen. The noticeable differences are clear from the back as the i20 Active obtains the registration plate housing shifting to tailgate and updated tail-lights.
The European model of the car as well features two new paint choices and a 'Phantom Black' contrast roof, although it is not sure whether India-specific variant will get it or not.

Over the standard i20, you can notice some minor changes inside the cabin. The cabin will look more appealing with a new pattern of the seat upholstery. European i20 Active has an idle stop-start system and a seven-speed dual-clutch auto box boosting the fuel efficiency of the car.
India-bound i20 Active is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol producing 83hp of power and a 1.4-litre diesel engine generating 90 hp of power. The facelift is expected to get both the engine choices. Further, petrol engine comes mated to a five-speed manual and diesel engine with a six-speed manual.
It will be amazing if the Hyundai plans to launch the new CVT on this model as recently none cross-hatch rivals have updated the models with the automatic option.
Although, there is no information yet on i20 Active to reach Indian soil. With the launch, we can expect the new i20 facelift to be priced in the similar price range as existing one, in Rs 6.99 - 10 lakh range in India.
