Hyundai Tucson Unveiled at 2016 Auto Expo

Hyundai has unveiled the third generation model of its most poplar and premium compact SUV, christened as Tucson at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo, scheduled at the Indian Expo Mart, Greater Noida. As per the fresh report available, new Hyundai Tucson will make its way to Indian car place by the mid of this year.

With information available the new Hyundai Tucson will be powered with the same engine option, which is currently running in the present model. It includes 2.0-litre four cylinder CRDi diesel mill that generates 175 bhp of power and 402 Nm of torque, mated with 6-speed manual transmission. Moreover, the vehicle may appear with both front and all wheel drive. Talking about the dimensions, new generation model has 4475 mm of length, 1850 mm of width, 1665 mm of height and 1655 mm of wheelbase.

Coming to the looks and styling, new Hyundai Tucson will continue with some common features such as signature swept back LED head lamps, hexagonal grille and LED DRLs at the front. Inside, the car will be loaded with 8-inch infotainment system with in-built sat- nav, electric tail gate, smart parking assist control system, automatic braking, seat ventilation, power adjustable seats, blind spot assistance, lane keeping assist system and heated reclining rear seats.

Like many other cars it will be launched and delivered via CBU route or also rumored that it will be manufactured at the company’s Chennai plant and will be tagged at the price between INR 18 Lacks to INR 23 Lacks. It might stand as a great competitor to Honda CR-V that also fits in the same range. Apart from the Tucson, Hyundai has also planned to unveil its all new global luxury brand “Genesis” and 2016 Elantra with stylish design and advanced technology.
