The Aprilia SR150, which was launched in the Indian biking industry in August last year, is ready to receive updates for the 2017 model year. As per the sources, the company is pondering to introduce the updated Aprilia SR150 by the end of this year. Other than this, the company is also going to launch a new range of colours for its Vespa scooters available in the country.
With this improved Aprilia SR150, you will only get adjustable front forks setup to end up stiff ride issue that most of the riders have been experiencing. Apart from this, there are no modifications on the revived SR150 either at cosmetic or at mechanical front. Anyway, the stiff ride is the most common issue with the scooters available in the market and company also understands the same that the suspension setup plays a vital role in scooter’s overall dynamic. So, the introduction of adjustable setup is a great move by the auto major as it will not only made the rider’s life easy but also be in company’s favor by attracting volume sales. Notably, the upcoming SR150 is not a standard variant but an optional variant of the same. Whereas, the fitment of adjustable forks will be standard in the race edition.

Available in the three paint schemes, the SR150 is priced at Rs 80,000 on-road. The black-red painted one is the most preferred from all. Whereas, the SR150 race edition’s demand is pretty good in metro cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru.
At the pricing front, the forthcoming optional SR150 variant is expected to get the premium of Rs 3000 to Rs 50000 over the standard variant. The introduction of an improved optional variant of the SR150 could be a great move for the bike maker, as it provides a number of options for the one who love that scooter.
