The facelifted Ford Endeavour has been spotted frequently in Thailand and Australia as its global launch is placed in mid-2018. The Ford Endeavour facelift is expected a launch in India as well around 2019 starting.
The spied images suggest that the facelift will get subtle cosmetic changes including marginal extending out fog lamp inserts on the front bumper, an updated radiator grille, new six-spoke alloy wheels, and a silver finish to the front bumper lower part. Inside the cabin, the updated seven-seat SUV will probably get a push-button start and passive keyless entry features which are missing in the previous model.
As Ford Endeavour global launch will get the 10-speed automatic gearbox and a new diesel motor, the India-bound SUV will not get those in India-specific model.
It will get power from a line-up of 2.2-litre diesel engine generating a peak power of 160hp and a peak torque of 385 Nm and 3.2-litre diesel producing a peak power of 200hp and a peak torque of 470 Nm. At the launch time in 2019, we can expect certain tweaks as per the BS-VI emission norms.
The Ford Endeavour Facelift will compete against the Toyota Fortuner and upcoming new Mahindra SsangYong Rexton in the market.
