A few days ago, it was reported that the new Ford Mustang will be arriving at Indian showrooms on 28th January. However, the automaker has disclosed that the launch will not be happening until the second quarter of this year. The Pre-Auto Expo event witnessed this supercar in a red paint job and looked ravishing. In the company's lineup, this is the first ever 2-door offering for the Indian market. It will be brought to the country via CBU route from Flat Rock, Michigan.

In the global market, the sports model is already a famous offering and is offered with personalisation facility. Some of the typical trendy features that will be seen include HID headlamps, LED tail lamps, stylish alloys and body colored exterior rear view mirrors. Inside, it will be flaunting a wide array of elements in the form of start/stop button, SYNC 3 infotainment, AM/FM stereo, CD-MP3 player, and an 8-inch sub-woofer alongside 12 speakers. Moreover, there will be 4.2-inch MID display for the instrument cluster.

Globally, the Mustang is sold in several variants fitted with different engines which includes a 3.7 lire Ti-VCT, 2.3 litre EcoBoost and a 5 litre unit. However, in India it will be offered with just one category and that's probably the 5 litre motor. This engine is good enough to make 435PS of maximum power and 542Nm of peak torque. As far as the transmission is concerned, a six-speed gearbox is likely to be fitted in the sports car in both manual and automatic avatar.
