The Italian supercar manufacturer, Lamborghini has pulled the covers off from its production version hyper SUV, the Urus at its new plant in Italy. It is the first hyper SUV and the second SUV in the row post the legendary LM002. Primarily showcased as a concept car in 2012, the vehicle is named after a species of wild ox that predates modern-day cattle.
Beneath the hood, the Urus is the first time going to use a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that is capable of generating the maximum power of 621 bhp along with 850Nm of torque. The power will be sent to all the wheels via an eight-speed AT and a new AWD system. In addition to that, you will be benefited with the various driving modes including the Ego that can be personalized as per your taste and an air suspension as a package.
The Lamborghini Urus is the first four-seater concept in current generations cars by Italian marque. Featuring the conventional Lamborghini style, the car looks beautiful and furious. Fast as always, the car shares a number of attributes from its siblings the Huracan and Aventador which comprises steering wheel, instrument cluster, and center console but with a softer look in order to contrast with the family-oriented image of the car. Other than this, the car will be blessed with the features such as an electrically adjustable leather seats and multi-zone climate control and more that can be offered in the segment and in this price range by the carmaker.
As expected, this India-spec Urus will help in not only boosting up the sales but also generate volume for the automaker in India and abroad. For the Urus India launch, there are no official words from the brand though it is likely to arrive by the end of 2018.
