As we are eagerly looking at the new generation Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 and the latest spied images on Indian roads had revealed that the new Yamaha bike is on the way to reach our showrooms. Albeit, as leaked images showed, the India Spec Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 will obtain an important hardware update. The model, ready for India launch, will be excluding USD forks and will implement traditional telescopic suspension at the front end. In addition, it is hard to find a distinction between the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 international and India specific variants.

Expected Prices Of India-Spec Variant:

It is expected that the new Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 will reach the market with the price tag of around Rs. 1.30 lakh(Ex-showroom, India).

India Launch Date Of The Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0:

There is no confirmation regarding the official launch date for India-spec variant of new Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0, but a report by Times of India says that the bike will be available in the market ahead of or on Auto Expo 2018 which is going to take place in Delhi, India.

Specifications And Features Of New Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0:

The Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 takes styling features from its comrade, the available Yamaha R1. Apparently, all the specs enable new generation styling including a ram air intake, an LED headlamp, a fully digital instrument cluster, and ABS. It will go with the all-time favorite Delta Box frame. Besides, it also includes a new tail section, a tail tidy setup, a unique swing arm, sleeker turn indicators, a new LED tail lamp, a new exhaust canister with an addition of aluminum finished tip and a revisioned split seat.

Engine Specifications:

The new Yamaha R15 V3.0 will be powered by a 155cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine along with an adoption of Variable Valve Actuation(VVA) technology. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox and is able to churn out a maximum power of 19.3 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 8500 rpm.

Safety Features:

Considering the safety, ABS will be available as standard. Besides ABS, the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 has a slipper clutch also.
