As the fresh reports, the India bound Suzuki SX4 S-Cross has made its debut at the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, which has been started from today. Unlike the latest variant of this unit, which has already been surfaced online with some leaked pictures, the pre-facelift version has been showcased at the ongoing event.

With information available, only the petrol engine is going to be offered for this model at first. The specification of the petrol unit includes a 1.5-litre four cylinder motor that spits out 80 kW of power at 6000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4400 rpm. For transmission, a five-speed manual unit is there with an optional 6-speed automatic gearbox unit. However, other details such as its trims level and their equipments are yet to come.
In terms of the dimensions, the carmaker has designed this compact crossover with a length of 4300 mm, width of 1765 mm, height of 1590 mm and a wheelbase of 2600 mm. Besides, 180 mm of ground clearance is also well enough to manage all the potholes and rough roads. Some of the notable features are listed as 7-inch infotainment system, paddle shifters, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, HID headlamps with daytime running lights, keyless start with push button, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, etc.
As far as the India bound S-Cross facelift variant is concerned, there is no clear indication that when it will be launched here, however, it is believed that it will come up with more engine options along with the regular one.
