The flat-tracker models, Indian FTR 1200S and 1200 S Race Replica has ultimately been launched in India. The company has priced the Indian Motorcycle FTR 1200 S motorcycles at INR 15.99 lakh and INR 17.99 lakh respectively while the booking amount is set at INR 2 lakh. You will be surprised by knowing that the pricing of both the bikes are kept relatively lower than the amount suggested back in December 2018 at the time of its unveiling.
In its styling, the bikes retain the spirit of brand’s rigid FTR750 flat-tracker though comes packed with modern-day features like an all-LED headlamp, all-digital instrument cluster, turn indicators along with a single-mounted double-barrel exhaust. Whereas, the teardrop-shaped fuel tank, is one of the major highlights of the flat-tracker based on a trellis frame.
In terms of power, the bikes are bolted with an improved 1133cc, V-twin engine shared from Indian Scout. The mill is now rated to develop 121.7PS of power and 115.2Nm of torque that is around 20PS and 18Nm more over the power figures of the standard scout model. Among the gizmos, the Indian Motorcycles consist of features such as three rider modes (Sport, Standard and Rain), ride-by-wire throttle, wheelie control, traction control and cornering ABS. All the mentioned rider aids are controlled via a six-axis IMU.

The suspension duties on both the bikes are managed by a fully adjustable 43mm separate cartridge USD front fork and a fully adjustable piggyback mono-shock at the rear. While the braking responsibilities are under the supervision of 320mm dual discs upfront associated with four-piston Brembo callipers and a 260mm single disc at the rear.
