Yamaha has mildly modified its popular MT-09 Street bike for the next year and presented it the Intermot 2016 running in Germany these days. The two-lens LED headlamp is the biggest change in the bike, which is identical to the Kawasaki Z1000. Still, the MT manages to flaunt its unique charm alike its other siblings.
The aesthetic appeal has been enhanced by the front indicators to the radiator which are now relocated along with a shortened subframe. The swingarm now mounts the rear fender and also carries the number plate. Yamaha is using this design format for the very first time.
To reduce the clutch lever load by 20 per cent, Yamaha has armed a slipper clutch and a quickshifter. This is a nice try as the motorcycle can now be considered for the street use.
