The latest Jaguar F-Pace comes with SVR performance and other enhancements making it the most powerful F-PACE car yet. The SVR variant of Jaguar’s best-selling performance SUV, F-PACE, has been officially showcased at the ongoing New York International Auto Show 2018, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
The Jaguar car was introduced as the fastest F-PACE SUV till date. It comes with a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine capable of producing 542 bhp power and 680 Nm of peak torque, which is 44% more power than the previous model and enables the vehicle to reach 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds (and 0-100 kmph in just 4.3 seconds) and achieves a top speed of 176 mph (283 kmph). The car has been reportedly engineered by Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) unit of JLR.
In addition to an amazingly powerful engine, the new F-Pace comes with improved dynamics and enhanced chassis to further add to its performance. The upgraded chassis has been equipped with progressive springs on the front and rear providing 30 and 10 per cent more stiffness respectively. It also integrates an anti-roll bar system that reduces body roll by 5 per cent. The car also has a Sport Shift Selector.

The exterior of the car has been kept almost the same as the standard F-Pace. However, many upgrades have been made in terms of improved aerodynamics, including larger air intakes at front and vents on side fenders that ensure lower pressure to the wheels, reduction in lift, and add extra cooling to further optimize stability on high speed. The major change in design has been made in the form of the SVR bonnet that features vents to extract hot air while driving and help cool down the engine bay. The F-Pace SVR also gets new wheel arch extensions and cladding under its body, both of which add to giving it a muscular pose.
The lightweight forged alloy wheels offered with F-Pace SVR are available in two sizes of 21 & 22 inches. The tires have been kept wider at the rear to ensure better handling. The side strakes further increase the aerodynamic aspect of the car by keeping airflow away from the rear. A Variable Valve Active Exhaust System has been added to the car. The backside of the SUV has a new bumper that houses the tailpipes for the Active Exhaust System.
Many new changes have been made to the interior of the newer F-Pace SVR, including a 10-inch touchscreen display, slimline performance front seats, sporty character rear seats, SVR branding on seats and steering wheel, an advanced Touch Pro infotainment system, tactile aluminium paddle shifters, a 12.3-inch HD instrument cluster, and 4G + WiFi capacity with ability to connect with up to eight devices.
The Jaguar F-Pace SVR will be offered in four interior colour options - Red with Jet, Siena Tan with Jet, Light Oyster with Jet and Jet with Light Oyster stitching.
