Jaguar has set up its XF executive edition in India on 8 December 2014 with grandiose cosmetic and mechanical features. From the outside, this model renders a sophisticated aspects at first sight for its customers. We regret to inform you that some of its features have been detached that were found in its standard version, like there is a lack of memory functions for driver seat and mirrors, rearview camera, sunroof TV tuner as well as it doesn’t hold front passenger seat away button. However, this runabout unifies various premium functions to fulfill all requirements for its passengers, such as a navigation system, full size spare wheel, keyless start and full color touch screen.
On the other hand, this Executive Edition also includes Jaguar smart key system, interior mood lighting, electric front seat and powerfold exterior mirrors. Jaguar believes to adduce an enthusiastic journey for its customers as well as protect them while travelling and with keeping these things in mind, this time also the manufacturer has bestowed transcendent safety alongside airbags, front seat whiplash reduction system and the pedestrian contact sensing. Mechanically, it is similar to its outgoing model and XF is powered by a 2.2 liter four cylinder diesel engine to churn out stunning power of 187 bhp at 3,500 rpm and aristocratic torque of 450 Nm at 2,000 rpm.
The Jaguar XF Executive Edition gets an 8 speed automatic transmission system that drives its rear wheels and is capable to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds. This luxury vehicle has been priced around INR 45.12 Lakhs in the ex - Showroom, Mumbai.
