It is a big remark for a midsize SUV, the Jeep Compass, that milestone of around 10,000 sales has been achieved by the car on December 14, 2017. The Jeep Compass launched on July 31, 2017, and managed to sell 10,000 units within just five months.
With the availability of variants and powertrain options, the company will increase the price by 2-4 percent, as announced by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). Although, the Jeep is about to put the entry-level price as per the competition with he base-petrol Sports model. Currently, the Jeep Compass Sports petrol variant is available in a price tag of Rs. 15.16 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).
In addition, with the normal price increment by the next year, the Jeep Compass will get a diesel automatic choice as well in the country. The petrol automatic variant was just launched in October this year. Next, the company is also planning to introduce the famous off-road oriented model, the rugged Compass, the Trailhawk, in the country by the next year.

Considering the availability and launch of the diesel automatic and the Trailhawk, both variants are available at FCA’s Ranjangaon production unit, which is the production hub for a right-hand-drive variant of the Jeep Compass model. In October month, the Jeep Compass carried the first batch of 600 units of the Compass through water route for the Australian and Japanese users.
