For your reminisce, the imported model BJ250 is a sports classic from Kawasaki that was under pipeline in the year 1991. Badged with moniker Estrella, the BJ250 was on sale in most of the Japan markets. With old-school charm, the motorcycle featured the simple and minimalistic styling. Under the fuel tank, the powertrain was a 249cc, single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected engine. The power transmission was handled by a 6-speed gearbox.
As per the available engine specs online, weighs 161 kgs, the Estrella carries the price tag of INR 4,02,353. If it launches in India, the price tag would be slashed by a good margin as the company would produce the motorcycle locally at its production unit here. In the segment, if launches, it will see the competition with the likes of Jawa 300 and Jawa Forty Two. under the fuel tank, both the models will share similar 293cc single cylinder 4 stroke liquid cooled single that is claimed to develop 27bhp and 28Nm of torque.
