Post rolling out four models back to back in four months, India Kawasaki Motors (IKM) is all set to introduce a new variant of the ongoing model. The model has recently been teased on the brand’s social media channels and slated to launch on May 2, 2018. The little information known from the teaser image is that the Japanese giant is going to introduce the SE variant of the lately launched power cruiser, the Vulcan S. The thing that seems able to distinguish both the variants is the applied paint job on the bike in the teaser image.
The Vulcan S is being offered in a single Flat Ebony shade. Whereas, the SE variant gets a new Pearl Lava Orange paint job with keeping blacked out bits intact. Furthermore, no changes will appear on the mechanical front. As the SE variant will also continue to borrow the similar underpinnings and powertrain from the Ninja 650. The 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor has been electronically tuned to generate 60 bhp and 63 Nm via a mated 6-speed gearbox.

While for deceleration there is a 300 mm single disc brake with dual-piston at the front and a 250 mm disc with a single piston at the rear. The advanced safety aids of ABS is being provided as a standard fitment.
A composed and spirited performance offering in the cruiser bike segment, the Kawasaki Vulcan S comes featured with attributes like three-way adjustable foot pegs, handlebar, clutch levers and adjustable seat height, which offers immense comfort for the rider. Pricing for the Vulcan S SE trim will be more than the ongoing Vulcan S variant that is priced at INR 5.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
