Good news coming up for the Kawasaki sports bike fans in India!!! Recently, India Kawasaki Motors has launched the locally assembled 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R with a starting price of INR 13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Ninja ZX-10R model is cheaper by INR 31,000 than its predecessor while it offers superior braking performance with improved suspension set-up. The locally assembled Ninja ZX-10R has also been touted to be as close as to the World Superbike Race (WSBR) machine by the Japanese motorcycle company. The deliveries of the new Ninja ZX-10R is scheduled to start from June 2019 for those who have made early bookings for this superbike. For those who are still interested in honing their garages with Ninja ZX-10R can make bookings at local Kawasaki dealerships.
As far as bike cosmetics go, the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R remains mostly identical to its predecessor with slight changes in the color of the fairing to give it a distinctive look from its older trim. Well, the area where most noticeable changes can be seen include the bike mechanics as it comes with a much-improved powertrain. The new 998 cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor churns out power of 200.2 bhp, which can be further boosted to 210 bhp with RAM air intake. Talking more about the powertrain, a finger-follower valve actuation has also been added into the new engine setup along with a red-painted head cover. A refreshed 6-speed constant mesh gearbox has also been integrated into the bike along with Kawasaki Quick Shifter-Dual Direction quick-shifter that assist in clutch-less shifts.

Talking about the bike suspension, the old familiar, fully-adjustable 43 mm Showa inverted forks with 120mm remains in the bike handling front suspension duties whereas rear houses a back-link gas charged monoshock unit with 114 mm travel. As far as the braking goes, the bike comes with dual semi-floating discs at the front with Brembo M50 monobloc calipers. On the rear side, a 220mm single disc performs the braking duties with single-piston caliper. Electronic aids like Kawasaki Traction Control, electronic throttle valves, cornering management system, engine brake control, ABS along with three different riding modes are also present in the new Ninja ZX-10R.
However, if we talk about the competition, then the newly launched Ninja ZX-10R will lock horns against the likes of Suzuki GSX-R1000, Ducati Panigale V4, Yamaha YZF-R1, Aprilia RSV4 RR, and the upcoming new generation BMW S 1000 RR on the racing tracks.
