The next generation Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is here and interestingly we have scrutinized some updates from the patent images. If the international sources are believed to be true, the ZX-14R would become the Kawasaki's first model getting the cornering light specification.
However, the news can be fictitious as no confirmation about the same has been there. But still, the three lights covering fully the headlamp in the first image clears the assumption and makes us believe that the bike would get cornering lights. As per the patent drawings, it can be observed that the top light on each side will automatically light up first when the bike is leaned over in the same direction. The lean angle will be adjusted according to rider's position.
This feature has been seen in the KTM 1290 Super Adventure as well showing that this is not the first time a system like this is routing in the market. Though, it is the first attempt of Kawasaki to execute such a plan. The initiation of this technology is surely going to help lighting up the streets from the corners.
