The Japanese firm, Kawasaki, is set in motion to bring out its new sports racer 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10 R soon to the Indian territory after the launch of Versys 650 from next month onwards. There had been no launches from the automaker since a year. However, things get altered by the end of this month as two new offerings are on their way.
Kawasaki has been eagerly waiting to introduce new bikes to the Indian market just like the rest of the markets. The new aggressive ZX-10 R has been strictly flourished by the racing team of the company, to make it look like the factory model. As per the design perspective, the overall structure has not been touched much, but precise changes have been made to look the new racer more hostile and fitter in terms of aerodynamics.
Powering the bike is an updated 998cc inline-four liquid-cooled engine that propels 197 BHP of power. The motor will get a new cylinder head, which is 20 percent lighter and is mated to a six speed gearbox. It also features new electronic throttle and a titanium exhaust. Other technical bits include, intelligent anti-lock brake system, Kawasaki quick shifter, Kawasaki engine brake control and the new-sport Kawasaki Traction control.
The machine has been equipped with Brembo M50 monoblocs and radially mounted 330mm twin-discs at the front. Rear contains a 220mm single disc with an aluminium single-piston caliper. The Ninja ZX-10 R will be brought up as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and sold only at Kawasaki dealerships. As per the price, the new sports racer will cost marginally more than the current model.
