Kawasaki to Launch Versys 250 in India Soon

The Kawasaki has created a buzz in the Indian two wheeler market as the company has made an announcement regarding the launch of its adventure motorcycle Kawasaki Versys 250 in our country soon. As per the reports, the quarter liter bike will be manufactured based on Kawasaki Z250.

 In terms of designing, the upcoming bike will arrive with half fairing design as it seems that it is inspired by the existing Versys 650. The quarter litre fairing is extended up to engine. The Versys 250 is loaded with twin headlight, side fenders and stepped seats. The motorcycle provides a dynamic balancing power as it is featured with upside down suspensions at its front side and monoshock at the rear. The adventure bike is manufactured on the Diamond frame that offers a better stability power. The braking duties are performed by the Ventilated petal discs brakes, which are made by Nissin.

Technically, the Versys 250 houses a 249cc, 8-valve, liquid cooled and fuel injected system that produce robust power output. Its twin cylinder motor makes it able to deliver a maximum power of 32 PS and a peak torque of 21 Nm. The motor is coupled to a six speed transmission.

According to the reports, the quarter-litre bike will be arriving to the market by the next year and it is likely expected to hit the Indonesian market by the end of this year. The motorcycle will compete against its rivals as KTM 200/300.
