Kawasaki Vulcan 650 is set for India launch. It is one of the super trendy cruisers going to launch soon in the country. The bike weighs 225 kg and shares the similar engine like Ninja 650.
The Kawasaki Vulcan 650 is a 650 cc segment bike which is equipped with many features to make it an overall attractive machine. The bike is accommodated with the conventional cruiser-style low-seating arrangement and inclusive of customisable seating position. The Kawasaki Vulcan 650 has adaptable foot pegs along with adjustable seat to make a rider feel comfortable.
It is powered by a 649 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine which is able to churn out a maximum power of 60.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 62.78 Nm at 6,600 rpm. The engine of the bike comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and an eco meter alarming of the fuel efficiency.
The bike is available with Antilock Braking System (ABS), although the version of ABS is not sure yet. Kawasaki Vulcan S ABS version is 3 kg heavier than the Vulcan 650 and weights 228 kg.
The bike is about to launch in India soon. It is expected that the bike will reach the Indian Market in completely knocked down (CKD) route where the bike will bring the bike in the form of fragmented parts. After the launch, the bike will go against Royal Enfield 650 cc Twins – Interceptor, Conti GT and Harley Davidson Street 750. The expected price of the bike is Rs. 6.5 lakh.
