Lamborghini Huracan Avio Set to be Launched in India on September 22

Debuted at the recently concluded 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the special edition Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Avio sportscar is all set to be launched in the Indian automobile market on September 22. Those who don’t know, the car in question has made its entry into the auto world to pay tribute the hardihood of the air force. Looks like, the day by day increasing popularity of the luxurious as well as sportier cars in the country has bound the automaker to introduce its latest version, which is limited to 250 examples only.

Being a special edition, the sportscar has come up with a range of cosmetic updates in order to discriminate it from others. Taking the details on the ground, the limited edition Avio has got twin white stripes over the roof and bonnet, and trappings on the rim of the front spoiler. Moreover, an L63 emblem, which stands for the automaker’s founding year where L is referred to Lamborghini and 63 for the year, is there situated beneath the side mirror of the doors.

Besides, it is available in five new exterior colors out of which the standard Grigio Falco has been finished in pearlescent shade whereas the other four shades are Blu Grifo, Grigio Volcano, Grigio nibbio and Verde Turbine.

The interior is now garnished by black leather upholstery with a special Alcantara further amazed by a laser-engraved hexagonal design. The founding year logo ‘L63’ is specially embellished by hand onto the seats that is also best in itself. One interested person can also customise the interior by his/her own under the Ad Personam facility. Some standard features like cruise control, GPS, etc have also come through a modification process. As the model has been inspired from fighter jets, it shares some styling cues with them such as digital instrument cluster similar to airplane cockpits, engine start button, etc.

If the similar European-based model will be imported to the country then a 5.2-litre V10 naturally aspirated engine will perform the duty under the hood of the car. Along with a max power of 610 bhp, the unit can sprint from nought to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and can reach a maximum speed up to 325 km/h. Power will be dispatched to all four corners with the help of a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. No price details have been revealed yet for the India-based model, but, it could lie between INR 4 Crore to INR 5 Crore.
