Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2 RWD Version Revealed

When it comes to sports car, Lamborghini is a brand that is always counted among the top brands in the global market. Though each and every model in its lineup is special in its own way, the Huracan has got a lot of fan following. Till now, this supercar is available in an all wheel drive version, but now the automaker has revealed a rear wheel drive version of this coupe. Various changes have been made to this latest offering in order to distinguish it from the AWD one. These changes include the dimensions, cosmetics as well as the powertrain.

The new Huracan, termed as LP580-2, has received a restyled bumper both at the front and rear along with improved air intakes in a way that the driver has to put less force on the front axle. This sports car stands on all new 19-inch alloys that are found wrapped in bespoke Pirelli P Zero tyres. These tyres have been designed specifically for this upcoming model. The weight of this Lamborghini supercar is less than the LP610-4 version by 33 kg, thereby reaching to 1.389 kg.

Moving on to the mechanical specs, it continues to be powered by a 5.2 litre, clubbed to a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) unit instead of a manual gearbox. This setup develops a peak torque of 53.1kg along with the power measuring 571Bhp. Owing to the modified ECU, 75% of the torque is generated at 1,000rpm. Discussing the acceleration, this Huracan is slower than the current model by 0.2 seconds, which makes it sprint upto 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
