The New York Show or NYIAS 2015 has started and the Japanese car maker Toyota's luxury segment Lexus has kept its promise of launching RX Crossover at the show. The new RX 450h looks like the cousin of comparatively smaller Lexus NX which was revealed last year. The crossover has been made available in both petrol and hybrid engine along with many exterior changes inside and outside to give the cat completely overhauled look. Mentioning the engine, it would primarily be powered by a 3.5 Litre V6 naturally-aspirated engine producing 300 hp power. While the hybrid model will get the same engine and an electric motor to give the same 300 hp power, but is more fuel-efficient. Also, both model have been mated to 8-speed automatic transmission unit delivering power to all 4 wheels.
Featuring on exteriors is an all new aggressive front fascia, trademark Lexus grille, smaller triangular shape enclosing fog lights, headlights borne by sharp lines, rear wheel arches as same in NX, L-shaped taillight on rear and many more as well. The car has been developed on a solid and rigid frame to give the much-needed stability to the frame.
The car definitely looks very promising to me and must do well in the market as well. The price and launch date hasn't been finalized yet and we'll inform you about them as soon as we get them. Till then stay tuned with us.
