The ravishment of the approaching festive season is at its peak and the automakers throughout the nation are gearing up their newbies to be introduced in the respective niche. Mahindra, however, is a bit ahead of the rest and already launched two new colors for its true performer in the scooter segment, the 110cc Gusto. The new edition variants can be availed at INR 52,010 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) with a slew of innovative elements and ergonomics.
As of now, there are six colors in which the scooter is already available. Following them, the additions are the pacific matte blue and the crimson matte red. Contrasting with the outer looks of both the tourers, the interior panels get beige tint. The list of features is fairly comprehensive and includes seat adjust height, flip key, find-me lamps, LED lights and front kick start system. In terms of power, the commuter has been armed with an 110cc single-cylinder engine beneath the seat, which manages to propel 8BHP of power and 9NM of torque via a CVT gearbox.
“Mahindra Gusto with its innovative Height Adjustable Seat and a slew of other innovations and superior performance has received a great response both online and offline. We are at the forefront of embracing e-commerce by making our products available to customers at their convenience,” announced Naveen Malhotra, Senior General Manager, sales, marketing and product planning, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd.
The company, at this time, has launched these two scooters exclusively via an e-commerce platform, Paytm for an index cost of Rs 5,000 to cherish the festive mood. Though, it will be available offline pretty soon. When it comes to the competences, the new Mahindra Gusto 110 will run shoulder to shoulder with the Honda Activa 3G, the TVS Jupiter, the Hero Pleasure and the Hero Maestro.
