India’s leading automobile maker, Mahindra has launched its Big Bolero Pik-Up in the domestic market with a price tag of INR 6.15 lakh( BS-III 1.25T variant), while the BS-IV 1.25T variant is available at INR 6.30 lakhs (ex-showroom prices). The Big Bolero Pik-Up is said to be an updated version of the load carrier that offers modern and better interior along with revised styling.
The Pickup has received both cosmetic and mechanical enhancements, also being inspired from the regular Bolero passenger variant. The exterior parts such as front grille, headlamps, and bumper have been adopted from the passenger variant. Meanwhile, the interior gets modern dual-tone dashboard followed by a gripped steering wheel.
The LCV comes with a beefed up leaf-spring suspension system which makes it suitable for driving in odd terrains. It is capable of handling a payload of up to 1,500 kg. It is powered by 2.5-litre diesel engine available in two version – a 70 hp power BS4 and a 63 hp power BS3.The vehicle is claimed to deliver a decent fuel efficiency of 13 kmpl.
Moreover, The Mahindra Big Bolero Pik-Up has been offered via Udhay ownership scheme which facilitates special discounts on spare parts, free accidental insurance of 10 lakhs, and referral scheme.
