Most dynamic Mahindra XUV300 diesel-automatic version has finally made an entry in the Indian market with the W8 and W8(O) diesel variants priced at INR 11.50 lakh and INR 12.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
The AMT-equipped version of the compact SUV defines the Mahindra’s auto shift technology and is available for delivery throughout all Mahindra dealerships in 3 colours - Pearl White, Aquamarine and Red Rage.
Alike the manual engine, it is powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine which churns out 117hp and 300Nm of torque, mated with a Marelli-originated 6-speed automated manual gearbox for brisk acceleration and easy overtaking. The gearbox comes with dual modes – Auto and Manual in addition to a creep function which is further helpful in stop-and-go traffic. The XUV300 features Hill Start Assist Technology for smooth and safe driving on hills.
The W8 variant comes equipped with 17-inch alloys, hill-hold, dual airbags, a reversing camera, Keyless entry, ESP, auto headlamps and wipers, front and rear fog lamps, dual-zone climate control, projector headlamps with LED DRL, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay and an engine start/stop button.
The W8 Optional comes with additional features like five more airbags (side, curtain and driver’s knee), heated wing mirrors, sunroof, diamond-cut alloys, front parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system and leatherette upholstery.
