Mahindra TUV300 Plus that is a lengthened version of the outgoing TUV300, has been spied once again. But this time the model was spotted without any camouflage covering. As expected the new SUV is ready to hit the Indian dealerships anytime soon in coming months.
From the spy sets of images, it is clear that the TUV300 Plus is sharing most of its exterior and interior details from the shorter version TUV300 model on a comparatively longer wheelbase. Continue with the same boxy styling at the front end, the new SUV seen the introduction of a new front grille design with chrome accents, square shaped wheel arches, third row seating and fixed windows, a rear mounted spare wheel and newly designed wraparound tail lamps, etc.
While inside the cabin, the model in the spy images was sporting a dual tone theme of black and beige along with a matte black finish on the centre console. There was no touchscreen infotainment system and the test mule was featuring standard wheels. All these components clearly hinting that the spied TUV300 Plus was a base model. But the top end variant of same is expected to embellish with much premium interiors and better features.

Under the hood, the new TUV300 Plus will be equipped with a 1.99 liter 4 cylinder diesel mill that performs propelling duties on the Mahindra Scorpio sold in the Delhi-NCR region. The said engine is capable of generating the peak power of 120hp in association with a 5 speed manual or 5 speed autoSHIFT AMT.
In the Indian lineup, the TUV300 Plus will replace the aging Xylo and find place in between the Mahindra Scorpio and its older sibling the TUV300 in brand’s lineup. In terms of pricing, the new SUV will be tagged with the price sticker in the range of INR 8-13 lakh.
