One of the automobile supportive media channels has reported that Mahindra and Mahindra TUV300 is going to be powered by the 100 PS engine, which comes with newly released Mahindra NuvoSport compact SUV. Currently, the TUV300 is moved by a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder diesel engine that is based on the mHawk80 platform. With this configuration, the motor is good for 85 Bhp of power and 230 Nm of torque. By having this new unit, the SUV will continue with more powerful engine alongside the regular one as well as also increase the power output as 102 Bhp and 240 Nm.
As of now, the car is valued amid INR 7.05 Lakhs to INR 9.60 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom), however, the price can also be hiked owing to this new attachment. Where the previous unit is good to receive 0-100 km/h in 19.52 seconds, it might also be improved as long as the new unit is launched.
It looks like Mahindra and Mahindra is in no mood to disappoint its buyers for any cause as it has been working on many projects.
Earlier we had reported that the company had made a partnership with the Italian company Magneti Marelli to develop powertrain components for season three Formula E-Car. Basically, we knew that all the racing events were organised to introduce new technology and features. So we can also expect that it is the move to introduce company's electric concept cars.
Besides all these above news, the company had recently launched Adventure Limited Edition of the Scorpio at a starting price of INR 13.07 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom), which is a highly popular SUV in the country. Based on the S10 version of the regular standard model, the car has been featured with many new attachments, while the engine specs will remain same.
