In a certification document leaked by a popular auto blogging site, the specifications of the upcoming Maruti Dzire Tour S CNG have been specified. The Tour S CNG version is expected to launch soon in India.
The Maruti Dzire Tour S CNG is an upgrade of the existing Maruti Dzire Tour S. It comes with a dual-fuel engine, which supports both petrol and CNG. The Maruti Dzire Tour S with petrol and diesel engines was launched in April 2017 as a taxi car variant of the popular Maruti Dzire. The Dzire Tour was introduced with a speed governor, which limits the top speed of the car to 80 km/h, as mandated for taxis by the government of India.
The new Maruti Dzire Tour S CNG, as indicated by the name, is the CNG (+petrol) version of the existing Tour S. A 1.2-litre flex-fuel engine has been integrated under the hood of this car. The engine runs on petrol and CNG. On petrol, it can produce a power of 62 KW (84 PS) at 6000 rpm, while on CNG, it can only produce a maximum power of 52.5 KW (75 PS). The engine has been attached with a 5-speed manual transmission. The exact fuel economy stats are not known, as of now.

The CNG version of the Maruti Dzire Tour S is likely to be launched later this year at an expected price between Rs 5.50 lakh and Rs 6 lakh.
