Maruti Ertiga Facelift to Arrive with SHVS Technology

After introducing the revolutionary Maruti Ciaz SHVS, the automaker is gearing up to launch the facelift version of Ertiga with same hybrid technology. There have been many incidents of this car being spotted during the testing procedure. Considering this, it is anticipated that this car will be launched nearby October, before the festive season. Maruti had revealed this upcoming facelift model at Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show held earlier this year.

The new MPV will continue to be powered by the 1.4 litre petrol engine that generates maximum output of 94Bhp and 134 Nm. Besides, the 1.3 litre diesel motor will be compiled with regenerative braking system, integrated starter generator along with a large battery for the hybrid version.

The side profile has not been changed at all, while the rear end has been slightly updated with chrome highlights at certain portions. The front fascia has been re-designed with a modified front bumper, new fog lamps, attractive chrome grille and a large air intake. Apart from this, some features are inspired from the facelift version of Dzire, like foldable ORVM, start/stop button and updated music system.

The company has reportedly ceased producing more units of current Ertiga as it is aiming at clearing the unsold stock first. In the last few months, it was able to sell around 8,000 units which came down to just 3,000 in the month of August. The pricing as well as other details have not been disclosed yet, but we will inform you as soon as we get any update.
