The wait for the Baleno facelift is over. At last, Maruti Suzuki has disclosed a teaser image and is expected to come to showrooms in the end of January 2019. After the launch in 2016, Baleno for the very first time went under the knife and came forward as the facelift. The company also revealed that the Nexa dealership has started accepting the bookings for the facelift and the booking amount is Rs 11,000. So whoever was waiting for Baleno facelift can hurry up and book it.
In Baleno facelift there will be new front bumper, grille, and a new alloy wheel design. Interior got few changes on the dashboard and seat fabric. The safety features of the upgraded Baleno are a seatbelt reminder for the front passenger, speed alert warnings and rear parking sensors. The model already has dual front airbags as standard on all trims, ABS, Isofix child seat anchors, and EBD. Also in the lower-spec variants of new Baleno, Maruti will provide more features.

Maruti Suzuki has not changes the powertrains, so it will be powered with the same 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.3-litre diesel powertrain options. The new Baleno will also get the same petrol-CVT trim and till now Maruti has not yet disclosed about the diesel-automatic trim.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift will come in the showrooms in the end of the January 2019 meanwhile the company is also updating the Ciaz and the Ertiga which will most probably be launched in February 2019.
