The candidates who want to own petrol variant of the car will have to wait for 4-7 weeks. While for the diesel version, on the other hand, people have to keep patience of 7-9 weeks to receive the car.
Well, from what we hear about the bookings of the Ignis, the initial response is quite good and expected to increase after launch. After Baleno, the upcoming Ignis is expected to be the next flagship product retailed from the Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa dealerships.
If powertrain of the Ignis is considered, the Maruti Suzuki is providing the two engine options which include a 1.2L K12B 4-cyl petrol engine trim which makes out 61 kW (83 PS) and delivers 113 Nm of torque. Whereas, the other a 1.3L 4-cyl DDiS 190 diesel engine is capable of producing 55.2 kW (75 PS) and delivering 190 Nm of torque with the help of gearbox transmission. As the options, Maruti Suzuki stable is conveying two types of transmission facilities a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox for both the petrol and diesel engine variants.
The Ignis will be launched in four trims which comprises Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. And, the top end Alpha variant will be embellished with these astonishing features as the LED projector headlamps with DRLs, puddle lamp, Smart play touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay, support for Suzuki remote app, automatic climate control, and rear view camera.
The pricing of the Ignis is not been unveiled yet, but expected to be the most affordable available option at the Nexa dealerships.
