The Maserati Levante Trofeo is showcased during the New York Auto Show. It is the muscular car from the Maserati ever and will be available in the limited number in Canada and the US. It is powered by a 3.8-litre V8 petrol engine producing a peak power of 590 bhp and a peak torque of 730 Nm. The Levante Trofeo can reach from the idle to 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds and touches the top speed of 300 kmph, which makes it one of the fastest SUV cars in the world. Maserati takes an engine used in the Levante Trofeo and it offers the highest output/litre among the Maserati engines ever at 156 bhp/litre. Like all the other petrol engines, this is also developed at Ferrari's engine plant at Maranello, Italy.
To regulate all power, the Levante Trofeo takes 22-inch forged aluminum alloy wheels which are largest fitted as compared to other Maserati cars and a re-tuned chassis. The customer has optioned to choose between the polished or matte finishes wheels. Besides this, the air intakes on the lower front take a fresh and more dominate design with two wings. The Levante Trofeo as well takes a carbon fibre splitter and carbon fibre side bezels.

Tim Kuniskis, Maserati CEO says, "It's proof that when you play with the elements you end up in a storm." He further says, “In the case of Trofeo, the engineers and designers in Modena knew that the driveline parameters were more than able to cope with additional power and they also knew that Maserati had access to the finest engines on earth. So, they were up to the challenge of making the finest luxury SUV also one of the fastest."
The interior also takes carbon fibre bits in order to pace with the sporty look. In addition, the company also offers a standard set up of 1,280 watts, 17-speaker Bowers & Wilkins surround sound audio system. The Levante Trofeo will complete the production in upcoming months at Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy of the company.
