The new Triumph Street Twin witnessed its world launch on Monday in Valencia. The Tourer was unveiled earlier in October. Apart from Triumph Street Twin, the company has also showcased its four new classic roadster range, which includes- Thruxton, Thruxton R, T120 and T120 Black. All five are new from the foundation level and got the spectacular bold retro styling. The Street Twin comes with a new 900cc 'high torque' 8 valve, parallel-twin engine, unlike others that have used 1200cc unit range.
The Street Twin has been styled aesthetically preserving its original Bonneville silhouette. It has sharp, refined stripped back styling, taking inspiration from the New Wave Custom Scene. Modern technology pieces in the bike include- ABS, traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, and LED lightning. Garnished with minimal bodywork, the new bike looks very youthful and will surely win the hearts of a wide range of riders.
With over 160 new, stylish and high-quality accessories, it will be so easy to create your own customized styling. Moreover, three option packs called "Inspiration Kits" includes, high exhaust 'Scrambler', minimalist 'Brat Tracker' and the 'Urban', complete with a waxed cotton or leather pannier.
True competitors for the new classic will be the Ducati Scrambler Icon, Yamaha XSR700, Harley Davidson Street 750 and Motto Guzzi V7 II Stone. Pricing for the motorcycle has not been announced yet, but it is expected that the arrival in dealers will be at around 7995 British Pounds. Four color options will be there- red, silver, matt black and gloss black.
