Well! It's true, a set of spy pictures of an all new Eider CF Moto 650MT has emerged online. Evidently, seems more of a sports tourer, the 650MT may join CF Moto’s Indian product lineup in 2017. The range of CF Moto Chinese motorcycles is being retailed under the badge of Eider Motors from its only showroom in Maharashtra, India.
Officially, nothing has been revealed about its Indian launch, but whenever it will go on sale, it’ll be in competition with its potential rival in the similar category, Kawasaki Ninja 650. Currently, Ninja 650 is being sold at the price sticker of Rs. 4.97 lakh (ex-showroom). Comparatively, the CFMoto 650 will be more pocket-friendly in pricing than Ninja 650. Overall, it could carry the price tag nearer to its sibling the 650 NK which costs, Rs. 3.37 lakh in the Indian market.
From the surfaced images, it’s clear that the CF Moto 650 MT would be a semi-faired sports tourer that will be manufactured on the similar platform of existing CF Moto motorcycles and would be furnished with components like USD front forks, rear mono shock, engine bash plate, underbelly exhaust, etc. As per the Australian sources, these images has been leaked by Chinese bike maker, CFMoto itself.

The CFMoto 650MT would house the same powertrain assembly of parallel twin, liquid cooled, DOHC motor, which is displaced with the 649.3cc. The electronically tuned fuel injected motor is able to deliver 55.7bhp at 9500 rpm and 62 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm with the linked six-speed gearbox. Stopping duties will be done by 300 mm dual discs with twin-piston calipers and a 240mm single disc with one piston caliper at front and rear, respectively.
