The company has revealed a set of images along with some details regarding the standard version of the latest A-class Sedan. Mercedes has been seen while testing the latest A-class-based sedan from sometimes globally. This new A-class Sedan will compete with the Audi A3 Sedan in an international market. The model before finishing the production reveals some specs including styling with dramatic Concept A Sedan which was unveiled at the 2017 Shanghai motor show.
Moreover, the latest A-class hatchback features elegant cues taking a larger front grille and a pair of slimmer headlights. The Mercedes is also planning to bring a hot A45 sedan in competition to the Audi RS3 sedan. The company confirms that in the starting, The A-class Sedan will come with just two engines and later units will be added based on production figure. It will take a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol 1.3-litre engine generating an output of 163hp/250Nm and a four-cylinder diesel 1.5-litre engine generating an output of 116hp/260Nm.

The engine comes mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and steering wheel-mounted shift paddles as a choice. It runs on all-four-wheels. The A 45 4Matic and A 35 4Matic can also be included in a limited number with AMG performance division. The A-class Sedan measures 4,549mm in length, 1,446mm in height, 1,446mm in width and a wheelbase of 2,729mm. It is a highly aerodynamic efficient vehicle.
The company is also expected to reveal an all-new CLA next year. The A-class Sedan is a separate derivative than the CLA as A-class has a conventional roofline and CLA has a swoopy coupé-like design. The CLA and A-class Sedan take a three-box shape along with the identical-sized packages, but both are destined for different kind of customers.
